Born in Sant Martí de Tous in 1979.

She has a degree in Business Administration and Management and in International Trade from Pompeu Fabra University. She holds a master's degree in European Economics from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium) and a master's degree in Economic Policy from Columbia University (United States).

She will be the first woman to be in charge of the Department. She has extensive experience both as an economist at European level and in the government. Between 2004 and 2015 she worked at the European Central Bank, first as an economist in the General Directorates of Economics (Foreign Affairs Division) and Statistics (Monetary and Financial Statistics division) and, since 2010, as an expert in Financial Stability in the General Directorate of Macroprudential Policy and Financial Stability.

In the area of the Government of Catalonia, until now, she has been Director General of Industry of the Department of Enterprise and Labour. And, between 2019 and May 2021, she was Secretary of Economy of the Department of the Vice-Presidency and of the Economy and Finance.
