This afternoon, the Vice-President of the Catalan Government and Minister of Governance and Institutional Relations, Joana Ortega, made public the first figures regarding today’s participation process. The Vice President revealed that, as of 13.00h, participation was at 1,142,910.
 
“Thousands of citizens are participating freely to express their opinion on the political future of Catalonia”, stated Vice- President Ortega, highlighting the absolute normality of the day’s developments in the 1,317 locations and the 6,695 polling stations in which the volunteers are fulfilling their tasks without significant incidents.
