- The 19 polling stations situated around the world for the citizenry participation process received a total of 13,573 votes yesterday
- Catalans who live abroad and have not been able to vote can do so until 25th November (inclusive) in any of the Regional Offices of the Government of Catalonia (Barcelona, Tarragona, Girona, Lleida, Catalunya Central, Terres de l’Ebre and Alt Pirineu i Aran).
The 19 polling stations situated around the world for the citizenry participation process received a total of 13,573 votes yesterday. London recorded the highest participation, where 2,942 people voted, while Tokyo was the polling station with the lowest turnout, with a total of 129 votes. The participation day proceeded normally and was incident-free, despite some long queues being reported in the cities with more presence of Catalan citizens.
Catalans who live abroad and have not been able to vote can do so until November 25th (inclusive) in any of the Regional Offices of the Government of Catalonia (Barcelona, Tarragona, Girona, Lleida, Catalunya Central, Terres de l’Ebre and Alt Pirineu i Aran). These offices will be closed on Sunday 16th and 23rd November. Participation in the 19 international polling stations is now closed in order to maintain the proper daily functioning of these offices.
A total of 275 volunteers made this participation day possible.
