The President of the Government of Catalonia, Artur Mas, has expressed his most sincere condolences for the passing of Doctor Antoni Maria Badia Margarit on Sunday, November 16^th. Among the many honours Professor Badia Margarit received, were the Generalitat’s Cross of Saint George (1986), the Gold Medal for Science by the Barcelona City Hall (1999), the Honorary Prize in Catalan Literature (2003) and the Gold Medal of the Generalitat (2012).
