On behalf of the Government of Catalonia, the General Directorate for Development Cooperation offers its deepest condolences to the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) staff killed during today’s airstrike in Kunduz, Afghanistan. The General Directorate wishes to extend this expression of condolence to the colleagues, families and friends of the victims, as well as the humanitarian organisation itself.

 

The Director for Cooperation, Marta Macias, highlighted the excellent task carried out by MSF, especially in situations of violent and armed conflict, in the protection of the human right to humanitarian aid and the right to health.
