After the meeting, the Minister explained that “the awareness about the situation lived in Catalonia is rising in Germany”. Bosch, together with the German MP Andrej Hunko, announced that Die Linke representatives will make in the following months “a historical motion to condemn the political prisoners’ trial and claim an action from Germany to solve democratically the Catalan conflict”. “We ask all over the world to understand that there are universal values in dispute and, here, in Germany, universal values are well protected”, highlighted the Minister.

The MP, Andrej Hunko, declared that, from his political group view, “it is astonishing that the Spanish Government doesn’t show any intention of dialogue”. “We are facing a complex situation, visible in the whole Europe,” he said.

Bosch trip in Berlin is part of an international tour around the European capitals with the aim of explaining the political situation in Catalonia. Last week, the Minister visited Genève and Iceland and, before, he also travelled in London, Paris, Madrid and Brussels.
