The Minister of Health, Alba Vergés, visited Rob Surgical Systems in El Prat de Llobregat today to learn first-hand about the company’s new Bitrack system, which improves the efficiency of minimally invasive robotic surgery.

During the visit, the minister met with the team that founded the company and emphasised the value of the Bitrack system, which is made in Catalonia: “The system will make high-precision surgery widely accessible in Catalonia and around the world. It improves usability for surgeons and has a lower acquisition cost.”

Vergés said she is confident that the system will reach public hospitals once it has obtained European certification.
