• The Minister of Business and Knowledge delivered a lecture at the 2nd Congress of Talent in Rovira i Virgili University (URV): ‘Post-covid perspectives for the Catalan Business network’
Minister of Business Ramón Tremosa:
The Minister of Business and Knowledge, Ramon Tremosa, said that "we have already detected more than 200 major innovative projects to apply to the European funds for economic recovery, funds that need to be economic motors of the productive sector". The Minister has advanced that "the Government will present them before Christmas".

The Minister of Business and Knowledge made these statements at the conference he delivered this morning at the 2nd Congress of Talent in Rovira i Virgili University: ‘Post-covid perspectives for the Catalan Business network’ The magnificent rector of Rovira i Virgili University, Maria José Figueras; Professor of Financial Economics, Acting Director of the Department of Business Management and Director of the Entrepreneurship Chair at the URV, Dr. Xavier Camara, and the General Manager of Industry, Matilde Villarroya.

Tremosa has conveyed a message "of cautious and rational optimism", because "when we have a remedy with the vaccination or with the widespread use of rapid tests, uncertainty will disappear, and I think we will be able to recover quickly".

During his speech, the Minister Tremosa said that with these funds "we will be able to give a very important push to the industry and our talent". In this sense, he said that "Catalonia has a lot of talent and it is thus so important to capture and retain what we already have at home".
