The Governments of Catalonia and El Salvador Share Experiences on Public Youth Policies for the Prevention of Violence

The Government of Catalonia and the Government of El Salvador met yesterday to introduce an exchange between public sector professionals in Catalonia and El Salvador in the field of youth policies, with the aim of strengthening and improving public youth policies as a tool for preventing violence in both territories.

This technical cooperation will strengthen the capacities of both El Salvador and Catalonia and identify joint priority lines of work between both governments to promote coordinated actions and respond to the global challenges affecting the youth of both territories. In addition, the meetings will enable the knowledge of Salvadoran dynamics in the prevention of violence and the transformation of conflicts from public policies as well as join forces with highly vulnerable communities in El Salvador.
