The General Director of Quality, Food and Agriculture industry from the Department of Agriculture, Cattle, Fishing and Food of the Government of Catalonia, Carmel Mòdol has presented today, in Corbins, the results of the European cross-border project Interreg POCTEFA Tr3s Local about “Supporting new sale initiatives to consolidate local products in rural environments.”

The project counts with a global budget of 892,000 euros and it’s co-financed in a 65% by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Programme Interreg V-A Spain-France-Andorra (POCTEFA 2014-2020). The project partners have been Catalonia and the regions of Ariège and Eastern Pyrenees and have been carried out from January 2018 to March 2021. The goal of POCTEFA is to reinforce the economic and social integration of the border area of Spain/France/Andorra. This aid is focused on the development of cross-border economic, social and environmental activities through joint strategies in favour of sustainable territorial development.
