Under the claim Streets for Life #love30, this global road awareness action focuses on reducing speed in towns and cities to 30 km/h, as the optimal limit for safe coexistence in public space.

For this reason, a global campaign has been launched under the _#love30_ label to promote the establishment of low speed limits in streets around the world to make them healthy, ecological and suitable spaces for sharing. The Catalan Traffic Service joins the action and during this week will publish on social networks through the account @transit messages about the benefits of urban traffic calming and about #cities30.

This action coincides here in Catalonia with the implementation last May 11th of the new urban speed limits. The Catalan Traffic Service values very positively the implementation of this reduction of the limits which will help to save lives and transform the streets into safer and friendlier road spaces.
