Once again this year, the Ministry of Culture, under its internationalisation brand, Catalan Arts, is providing Catalan contemporary dance with a stand (No. 41) at internationale tanzmesse nrw in Düsseldorf (Germany), the international dance fair that takes place from 28 to 31 August.

tanzmesse is a part of the Ministry of Culture’s international strategy to promote Catalan contemporary dance, with the Ministry attending this important showcase for sector professionals for many years.

The Catalan delegation, comprising 18entities and professionals, will be presented at the Catalan Arts stand, thus offering a joint image of the sector. With this stand, professionals will be able to take advantage of their stay at the event to meet international programmers and festivals attending the fair.

The Institut Ramon Llull will also be present.

As part of the Ministry of Culture support activities and with the aim of stimulating relations between Catalan professionals and the programmers and festivals attending the fair, on Friday 30 August at 11:30 am, in the area of Networking Island No. 3, a workshop will be held with international professionals to present the dance ecosystem and the new international platform CataLANDance, which will be led by dance journalist Clàudia Brufau.
